After deciding that Underground was to be the name of my magazine, I began to create the design of the title. I altered the font using Photoshop. I also changed the colours to see which was most appealing. I feel that the font at the top of the list has the most potential. The design is edgy and connotates the underground. It also has a contemporary, new, feel to it. I also like the font colour, red. From my research of music magazines, the font colour is usually red, for example, NME magazine. Once I had selected the font and colour I played around on Photoshop to produce an overall affect that I shall use for my magazine. The font has been edited in various ways to give this final effect...
I have placed the heading in front of a sample photo of a current band. This shows how the text will appear against the front cover photo.
